Terminal habits that stuck
A short list of small things I still use every day: a history search bound to Ctrl-R, a tiny alias for jumping to recent folders, and a rule to never edit config files without a backup copy next to them.
Sourdough log, weeks 1 to 6
Week 1: starter smelled like nail polish. Week 3: first loaf rose sideways. Week 6: an actual ear on the crust.

Fourteen books this year, mostly non-fiction about cities and maps. The best one was about how streets get their names.
